The Pendant is the item that Ahiru uses to transform into a human and also into Princess Tutu. It was given to her by Drosselmeyer in Act 1. It usually appears as a red stone hanging on a thin gold chain, but when Ahiru becomes Princess Tutu it has a much more elaborate design.
The pendant can also detect Heart Shards and glows whenever it comes close to one. The pendant itself is also a Heart Shard. It is the last of the heart shards, and represents the feeling of Hope.
Before the Mytho shattered his heart it was his will that he someday get it back.
